The new best features of iOS 10

Apple took the wraps off the latest version of its IOS operating system on its large developer conference Monday, and promises to bring full of new features for the iPhone and iPad boat. Available later this fall, IOS 10 is one of the biggest changes in the operating system to date.
The operating system has been upgraded from the bottom up, but these are the seven major innovations.

1. Messages

IOS messages has never been a really fun application, but Apple may have changed simply with the most important software update in years. First, messages now offers intelligent answers through Siri. So if someone asks where you are, Siri will offer a quick response that allows you to send your current location.

Adding rich links to messages now means that when you send someone a link to a YouTube video can be viewed within messages. And links to websites are no longer seen as a string of numbers and letters discombobulated; which actually appear as previews site.

Emojis have also gotten some love with IOS 10. Not only are three times larger in the transcript of the message, but there is also a new feature predictive emoji. As in the predictive text keyboard iOS, emoji predictive display in the predictive text line when iOS believes also wants you to add one to your message.

When you want to feel like one of the most popular kids and send a message full of emoji, you can write out your letter and press the button on the emoji keyboard to see what words can be replaced by small symbols. Because words are stupid ... I guess.

You can also adjust the way that the recipient receives messages through the effects of the bubble. So if you want someone to know that you are speaking softly, you can make the message bubble super small. invisible ink, meanwhile, belies its message to the recipient slides over it with your finger.

2. Lock screen

Apple wants to change the way we interact with the iPhone lock screen so it is much more interactive. I'm sure that right now you are asking, "Is not the antithesis of a lock screen?" Well, who cares, because Apple is doing anyway.

It starts with the new Apple rise to Wake feature, which turns the iPhone screen every time you lift it. Motorola Moto X offered a similar feature that showed notifications and time on a screen in black and white to help save battery life. Apple's solution illuminates the entire screen, though - so I'm not sure how this could affect your phone battery.

You can also interact with your notifications from the lock screen through 3D touch - as long as you have an iPhone or 6s 6s Plus ie. For example, if you have a text message on the lock screen, you can hold down using 3D touch to send a reply without opening the Messages application. Similarly, if you call for an Uber and receives an update, you can hold down the notification to see where your journey is on a map.

It swiping up from the lock screen Control Center still stands, but now if you go from right to left will open the music player.

Swiping from the right on the lock screen also opens the camera application, which is a little easier to slide on the small camera icon in the corner of the lock screen of iOS 9. When you slide to the left , meanwhile, brings to screen widgets.

3. Photos

Apple is finally catching up to Google when it comes to the Photos application. 10 iOS application can now perform the scene and object, so you can look for things like dogs or New York City and the app will take pictures that show those items up. Now you can do that in the Photos application Google, but Apple is obviously hoping that can bring back some users who have left for the supply of its rival.

A new Memory tab organizes photos based on where you took them and who took them. At the top of each entry is a prefabricated film created using all the photos and videos you took on your trip. It's a pretty neat feature that will inevitably make you wish you were still in your Aruba vacation and not stuck in his office with his co-worker Brian. (No offense, Brian.)

4. Siri

Everyone's favorite assistant, Siri, voice has also been hit with IOS 10 that is now available for developers. That means you will be able to use Siri to send messages through third party applications like WeChat, Whatsapp Slack and that should be very useful when behind the wheel.

You can also use Siri to get a Uber or Lyft, voice search for photos, make payments and start and stop training. It's nice to see Siri is opening up in this way, but the voice assistant still will not be as useful as something like Alexa Amazon until released from your smartphone and can be used in a larger device at home as the Amazon Echo .

5. Apple's music

Music Apple also received a major update, with a new interface that looks much easier to navigate large, bold text. The playback screen is much more attractive and less soda and now includes letters. Spotify also includes letters, but only in the desktop version.

For the section it is also much less complicated and seems more attractive than its current incarnation. That said, it is difficult to tell whether consumers will want to give Apple Music test after his difficult start. And pulling people from Spotify could be a difficult task for music Apple. Unless, that is, it follows for songs and albums from the likes of Taylor Swift whose offers are not available on Spotify.

6. Maps

After a bad start in 2012, Apple Maps is now a solid alternative to Google Maps. And now Apple Maps is getting some upgrades that give you more in line with its rival, if not surpass it. The new proactive features let you see when you do things like when they usually leave for work or upcoming appointments and provide the best route for that moment.

That said, Google now also be displayed when normally leave for work and the best route. And it seems that it makes more sense to get updates like that through something like Google Now. After all, why look in your Maps application to view your upcoming appointments ?

You can also find general locations, such as seafood restaurants using the improved search, which actually seems easier to use than the own search feature Google Maps.

Maps navigation feature 'now receives traffic en route, allowing you to plan ahead to see what traffic will be like and automatically obtain alternative routes depending on traffic conditions (all of which makes Google Maps).

Like many of the other services Apple has maps are also open to third party developers. So you can book a restaurant with OpenTable and Uber exists obtain from Maps. Google Maps also allows you to make a reservation with OpenTable and Uber call and - but you have to exit the application to the latter, which is not as efficient as Apple Maps.

7. Home

Finally, no home, new shaft HomeKit Apple for all devices enabled. From home you can see all devices no matter what company makes them, as long as they support HomeKit, of course.

Scenes feature application allows you to take control of all devices connected simultaneously to suit a specific environment. So if you play Goodnight, for example, the blinds are closed, the doors will close and the lights go out or attenuate all at once. Siri can also take control of their Homekit devices.
